Ruth Muriel Kauffman, the oldest daughter of Ezra and Belle Kauffman was born August 12, 1908..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ruth married Ira Meyers and had two children, Richard and Elaine.  Ruth and Ira lived at Grand Lake until 1940.  They moved to Paulsbo, Washington in 1942.  Ira died in 1954.

 

Richard was born in the Kauffman House.  He married Camille Carrier June 18, 1953 and have two children.  Catherine Meyers Marquis was born in 1961 and Brian Meyers was born August 1, 1967.  Elaine Patricia Meyers lives on Guemes Island, Washington.

 

Later in life Ruth married Fred McLaren (former RMNP ranger) in 1968 and they lived in the state of Washington.
