Bunte Family

 

The three Bunte brothers, Casper Henry (Henry), George and Bernard (Ben) immigrated to the United States in about 1873.  They were the sons of John and Imorde Bunte of Germany.   They arrived in Grand Lake, Colorado in 1877.

 

Casper Henry  born Sept 16, 1854 in Laer, Hanover, Germany.  Married Carolyn Wilhelmina Barlow Dubs in 1890. died 1958

• Harry Anthony born June 4, 1891. died June, 1971,  Married Matilda Zick Humphrey  in 1943.  born September, 1890  died March, 1972.

• Chester born November 4,1893. died July 13, 1956 Married Helen Skain

• Helen born May 4, 1895. died February 1896

Married Katherine Wilhelmina Barlow in 1895.  Henry died March 23, 1922 in Grand Lake, CO.

• Arnold born April 1,1902. died July 14,1968. Married Opaloma Mary Lawrence

George born  May, 1860 in Germany.  Died 1944.
