Volunteer & Internships

Volunteer with Grand Lake Area Historical Society
The Grand Lake Area Historical Society is always in need of volunteers to help operate and maintain the Kauffman House Museum as well as Cottage Camp.

The Kauffman House Museum is open daily from Memorial Day through August 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Weekends in September and on special occasions throughout the year. Volunteers are docents at the museum and will share the area history and information about our collection. There is also a gallery that houses additional exhibits which change periodically.  Volunteers sign up to work three hours weekly from either 11 – 2 or 2 – 5.  If you would be willing to volunteer, please call our office and leave a message at 970.627.8324 and we will let you know when training begins.

Intern with Grand Lake Area Historical Society
We would love to have help from someone needing to fulfill an internship. Call 970-627-9644 or email info@grandlakehistory.org to discuss the possibilities!
