Rosemary Kauffman Wilkin
Grand Lake Area Historical Society was saddened by the death of Rosemary Kauffman Wilkin, the daughter of Ezra and Belle Kauffman who built the Kauffman House Hotel which is now our museum. Donations may be made to a memorial established in her memory. Rosemary was active as a docent at the museum for many years and contributed many items from the family to the Historical Society.

At present the Pioneer Garden east of the Kauffman House is being funded by a Memorial donation. Jim and Ann Feucht have planted and cared for the garden for five years. The garden contains plants which were introduced into Colorado gardens by the early pioneers. Be sure to visit the garden if you are in Grand Lake.
